I read so many reviews before purchasing a GPS and quite frankly was a little hesitant to do so. I have had perfect functionality and have not suffered any of the problems other people seem to encounter. I live in a large city (Dallas)and it has been precise in its traffic coverage. It gives plenty of notice of upcoming turns. When I use it simply for the traffic information, I usually mute it because I do not need directions.
Great item! Would buy it again without hesitation.

@Amy Enz: in my opinion, i think google map maybe will be helpful for you and it is free. as I konw google maps could offer Real-time traffic data.
