hello i have a problem with the map
it only shows the freeways
roads where trucks can drive
is it just for trucks or is there a setting to enable streets in the city centrum

Hi,
I am at home… in SLOVAKIA… I’ve configured my GPS receiver in IGO8 but It’s showing my position somewhere in HUNGARY (Budapest)..
I don’t know why. Everytime when I run IGO8 my position is in Hungary although I disconnect GPS receiver from notebook.
…What’s wrong?

Excellent job! Thanks very much for sharing!
I could even use .dem file for relief and .3dl and .3dc files for buildings. Maps for iGo8.0.x are usable. Also POIs.
My only problem is that I can not save and load routes. And is a big one!

Hi , i am now downloading this IGO 8 from here , and i see the maps are sorted by Z01 file Z02 file Z03 file , they are archived by a program or should i copy them direct like that in the folder maps?

Answer 2 ISIIS :
Look for file sys_pc.txt and lines in it and change it:

set_messages=”0″
default_latitude=xx.xxxxx
default_longitude=xx.xxxx
********************************
x is your location (example: 40.12345)
and then in the folder /igo8/save
delete all files *.sav
and then start your igo8

Can i change the keyboard layout, to other languages ??
