this resourse come from http://www.howardchui.com/
Leo said: Finaly Rogers want to make some thing change, again this is fair that we pay money for a company build their network? Crazy. Also the silly part is the lost the money by GRRF, but they increas the price of plan by 5 dollers. its really a game, just put the money from one pocket to another. So, never truth Rogers.
Our source at Rogers’ has forwarded us the internal memo regarding Rogers’ new GRRF (Government Regulatory Recovery Fee), so here are the official details regarding the new fee.
- The fee is charged to “cover costs associated with standard operations, maintenance, and network upgrades”.
- New activations and account migrations onto new plans will be SAF and 9-1-1 fee free.
- These new plans will be launching October 5, 2009.
- Like the System Access Fee and 9-1-1 Fee the Government Regulatory Recovery Fee will be charged on a per line, not per account basis.
- Rogers is not required by the Canadian Government or any regulatory body to charge this fee.
- Money collected by the GRRF will be put towards recovering the costs associated with:
- 9-1-1 fees
- spectrum acquisition
- licensing charges
- help subsidize telephone service in rural/remote areas
The rate of the GRRF depends on two factors: the province where you account originates from and what service you have with Rogers.

お名前.com is a Japan VPS company. this week, i bought a VPS from them because they offer unlimited bandwith. it is good. but now, i think I made a terrible decision.
First of all, loot at the price setup fee will be needed which is very normal in JP. but it really hurt people.
another problem here is people only can choose CentOS. its fine, i like centos, but if i have more choice, it makes me happy.
and after I login in Centos by ssh. some bad feeling comes.
I need install yum by myself, and also it is hard to switch to Nginx or lighttp.
today I just broken down the system. but i can not find the place to summit a ticket.
really, i dont like お名前.com. btw their speed is petty low.
