Php 5.3.1 issues with MySQL

try to install php5.3.1 in my VPS
but I dont know why phpmyadmin does not work, it seems there are some issue with php 5.3.1 because i did the same thing with php 5.3.0 and it works well.
this is the way i try to configure php 5.3.1

./configure –prefix=/usr/local/php –with-config-file-path=/usr/local/php –with-mysql=mysqlnd –with-mysqli=mysqlnd –with-iconv-dir=/usr/local/libiconv –with-libevent=/usr/local/libevent –with-freetype-dir –with-jpeg-dir –with-png-dir –with-zlib –with-libxml-dir=/usr –enable-xml –disable-rpath –enable-discard-path –enable-safe-mode –enable-bcmath –enable-shmop –enable-sysvsem –enable-inline-optimization –with-curl –with-curlwrappers –enable-mbregex –enable-fastcgi –with-fpm –enable-force-cgi-redirect –enable-mbstring –with-mcrypt –with-gd –enable-gd-native-ttf –with-openssl –with-mhash –enable-pcntl –enable-sockets –with-xmlrpc –enable-zip –enable-soap –without-pear

any help?
maybe is my vps’s issue
